The British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) is urging householders to ensure that their renovations and home improvements are fully covered by their home insurance policy.

BIBA is encouraging people to check their policy ahead of the UKs busiest period for home improvements. Recent research anticipates that £57 billion will be spent on home improvements over the next six months. UK consumers are estimated to spend on average £6,400 a year on their homes.
